“Thank you for all of the time you spent with my family and my parents. You really made a difference for their elder retirement years. Usually, I am pretty steady emotionally, but when you gave the present of music from WWII, I could hardly hold back the tears. To me, the very thoughtful present to them represented the very thoughtful care they will receive while in your facility. Dad rode back to their apartment with me and we played one of the tapes. That really took him down memory lane. He shared some of his memories of when he and mom were first married that I had never heard before. He has continued to play the tapes and has enjoyed them very much. He has called Jerry to have him listen with him to some of the songs that are especially meaningful to him. You did, indeed, open the files to some very treasured memories for Dad. Mom loves music, also, and appreciates the present as well.”
